When we opened the doors at 521 First St this past November, Common Room Coworking was the new kid on the block.
We had a vision for what coworking could look like in downtown Benicia, but the interest and support for Common Room has exceeded expectations, and it’s been exceptionally fun to watch a community form in real time.
2025 by the Numbers
Before we move into 2026, here are a few highlights from our first 52 days:
80 Launch Event Guests: We kicked things off on November 7th with a packed house!
61 Tours: Small business owners and remote workers from Benicia, Vallejo, and beyond have tried out our space every day we’ve been in business.
16 Founding Members who now call Common Room home.
4 Community Events from member networking events to the Benicia downtown Tree Lighting.
