Creating Community
Since we cut the ribbon on November 7th, Common Room Coworking has been a whirlwind! Between new members joining almost daily, and some mornings with as many as 6 tours, the space has quickly become the active, productive environment we envisioned.
Our first two community-building events brought together the perfect blend of social connection & professional growth.

Cheers to Community: Common Room Coworking kicked things off on November 21st with a happy hour at Mare Island Brewing Co. First Street Taphouse. A huge thank you to their team for hosting us! It was the perfect setting to unwind and get to know new and potential members of the Common Room community. We enjoyed meeting some spouses and friends as well.

Curious Minds: Common Room Coworking launched our "Coffee Convo" series on December 12th with a deep dive into AI and small business.
Hosted by a Senior AI Engineer at Google, the roundtable conversation was grounded and practical. It was fascinating to hear different participants’ perspectives, ranging from managing the environmental impact of AI to its specific applications in high school education. We were fueled by a truly delicious quiche from Cafe at the Inn.
